Oklahoma virtual candle project
The news came Sunday evening that 4 deaths earlier in the day put the total official count of US combat casualties at 4000.
Rather than organizing a sidewalk vigil in Oklahoma City (see below for info on Norman event), I decided to create a virtual candlelighting site. I'm still building it and will post a link to it when it's ready sometime on Monday. Please check back here then, because you will want to participate. Update: It's live!
If you want to participate in a traditional vigil, there'll be one in Norman.
Location: University Blvd & Boyd Ave
Expected time for event to start: 6 pm, Monday, 3/24
