Women's reproductive rights severely limited in Oklahoma

There are a number of bills introduced in this year's Oklahoma legislature that seek to curtail sex ed info, access to safe abortions through various means, and generally butting into a woman's private business in violation of the Constitution, and standing U.S. law.

This page by NARAL shows the whole sorry lot, and is keeping up with the status of the bills.

Like it's not already bad enough! The overview of Oklahoma's reproductive rights for women shows our state with a grade of F in this area.

There are also some new (to me, anyway) Oklahoma Pro-Choice blogs that are keeping watch on Oklahoma laws, lawmakers, institutions and news.

And of course, there's Planned Parenthood of Central Oklahoma, which is just a vital resource, especially in an F state like this.

As I write this, it's National Condom Week and PPCO is giving away its millionth condom.

Planned Parenthood of Central Oklahoma will give away its one millionth condom during National Condom Week, February 11th
