They’re protesting runaway spending, durhhhh. If you’re 21 and about to graduate from college, you’ve got $119,000 in debt already, thanks to the Obama administration.
Also, ask the smokers (predominantly poor) how much their cigarette taxes have gone up lately.

You want dense? These teabagging folks are protesting 2008 taxes. You know, when a Republican’t was in the WH. The very Republican’t whose “runaway spending” turned a $127-billion surplus left by Clinton (who erased Reagan’s and Papa Bush’s Republican’t deficits) into a $455 billion deficit.
If today’s protesters were really all about just spending, they would have been heard from the past 7-8 years, which of course the vast majority weren’t (gotta account for the Ron Paul folks, who were). No, this is about their stingy ass ideas about taxes, which Obama has indeed lowered for the protesters. The only ones present at the rallies whose taxes are going up — for 2009, by Obama — are the celebrity “journalists” on hand to cover it.
Factor in the cost of the health care for smokers, and overall the bump in the price per pack, which will reduce the number of smokers, and thus the health care costs, and the public cost will go down. Not rocket science.
