One Big Union

Last fall, the Iowa-based band Red Smear put a demo version of their new song One Big Union on their MySpace page. I found it on some lefty blog or other, and alerted my friend James of JMBzine about it. He blogged about it, and even got a comment from Red Smear's frontman, Matthew Grimm, alerting us to the studio version of the song.

Now I just found there's a video posted on YouTube, and it makes a rousing song even more compelling by adding images of workers through history and around the world fighting for their rights and dignity.
