So strange. Exactly the same thing happened to me yesterday while I was listening to NPR. The American Life program. But Peggy Terry's interview nearly brought me to tears, how she expressed without the slightest trace of self-pity or bitterness, the experiences of her extraordinary life. I was moved by her startling observations about race, the development of her own social consciousness. I still feel so moved by the sound of her voice and the story she told.
