While looking for info for the previous post about a CBS special, I saw that Brian Wilson is to receive the Kennedy Honor award (along with Diana Ross, Steve Martin, Martin Scorsese, and Leon Fleisher). Cool. I've long rooted for Brian, whose personal journey I can really identify with.
Leon Fleisher, I'd never heard of, but, reading the bio, I learn he's had a real humdinger of a life too. Steve Martin and Martin Scorsese are huge talents that have changed the cultural landscape with their artistic contributions.
Oh, and Diana Ross can sing.
